Tram Network for New Brno City Masterplan

This master thesis deals with the planning of routes and their operating parameters for the tram network in the new Brno city masterplan. The work evaluates operational and capital expenses that are bound up with running and further expanding of the tram system. The numbers of inhabitants and jobs included in 300-meter zones around tram stops were assessed. The calculated values are compared with the current situation. Based on the results, a suitable composition of the vehicle fleet and the order in which new tracks should be constructed is recommended. Further measures are proposed to improve coverage of city territories by the tram system, especially construction of tram ways to other densely populated areas of Brno and the organization of selected transfer points

Výměnný nastavbový systém pro dopravu v rostlinné výrobě

This thesis deals with swap body system in crop production and conditions for the operation of farm machinery on public roads. Another part of work focuses on the application and harvest lines in crop production. Swap body types and their comparison of technical parameters are described. The technical-economic parameters at tractor set with swap body system compared and tractor set with single-purpose semitrailer are compared. Tractor set with swap body system has despite the higher purchase price a lower total hourly operating costs due to its transportation options wider range of materials, which led to the greater use throughout the year.

In the first part of this thesis, there are defined basic concepts and distribution related to this problem. The second part of this thesis is dedicated to particular means of transport, which are used in present agricultural transport, whether the vehicles using older, present or future technology. This work also introduces advantages and disadvantages of particular technologies. The above mentioned second part is divided into three related chapters. The first chapter deals with towing vehicles, while the second one introduces towed vehicles, and the third chapter describes the ways of connection between both
